Marko questions Vettel's performances this season but hopes Aston Martin are fair

Sebastian Vettel is going through a difficult period at Ferrari. Since the arrival of Charles Leclerc he has come under increasing pressure and is normally slower than his teammate. Helmut Marko has warned his former pupil, that the same may happen at Aston Martin.
Marko highlighted the German's increasing number of mistakes and the gap between him and Leclerc. "There is a lot of uncertainty, he makes an unusual number of mistakes over and over again. You can't deny it: on average he is two or three tenths away from Leclerc," he said in an interview with Sky Sports Germany.
Marko hopes for equal treatment
The Vettel we're now seeing is not the same man who won four World Championships at Red Bull Racing, according to Mark. Lance Stroll currently gets updates ahead of Sergio Perez at Racing Point, but Marko hopes they treat Vettel fairly.
"When you hear that all updates always go to Stroll Jr first, I hope they treat him [Vettel] fairly. For the image of Lance Stroll it is better that he beats a four-time world champion."
