Grosjean has one hand out of bandages: "Makes me super happy"
- GPblog.com
Romain Grosjean is lucky that he was able to get out of the burning wreckage with relatively minor injuries after his crash in the opening lap of the Bahrain Grand Prix. These injuries mean that Grosjean was unable to compete in the last two races.
It's been two weeks since the accident and Grosjean is recovering in the company of his family. The burns on the top of his hand were serious enough to keep him on the sidelines in Abu Dhabi. The extent of the burns is clear now that the bandage has been removed on one hand.
On Instagram Grosjean shows his right hand. His right hand has now been unbandaged and he can move it freely. The blisters and wounds are visible. His left hand is a lot worse and it will take some time before the bandage can be removed.
