BREAKING | Alex Albon will drive in DTM next season
- GPblog.com
Alexander Albon is going to drive in the DTM next season. For which team the British Thai will drive remains a secret. The old team mate of Max Verstappen will remain connected to Red Bull Racing as test and reserve driver.
Red Bull announces this in a press release. Albon will not complete the entire DTM championship, because the 24-year-old driver will travel with Red Bull to all F1 weekends. So if there is an overlap between the racing classes, Albon will have to go to the Deutsche Tourenwagen-Masters.
"The driver with whom Albon will alternate in the DTM will be announced at a later stage, as will the team and the car make," reports the Austrian racing team. Red Bull has not given a date on which more information will be given.
Albon finds new team
Albon will race there whenever it does not clash with his duties as Red Bull test and reserve driver in F1.
