Verstappen secretive: "You can do all sorts of things, but I can't say"

Max Verstappen is a satisfied man. He took pole position for the first time in the French Grand Prix, and will therefore start from first place on the grid on Sunday.
Red Bull Racing had a successful Saturday, which the team started strongly in the third free practice. According to Verstappen, however, the biggest step was taken even before the second practice session on Friday. "We've already made a good step forward since the second practice, and today just a little bit better. Of course, I'm very happy with that," he said in an interview with Ziggo Sport.
Verstappen secretive about 'problem' with front end
On Friday morning, the Dutchman noticed something wrong with the front of the car on the radio. His engineer wanted to look at the front wing, but according to Verstappen, it was something else. " It was something with the tyres, " he says mysteriously. What can be done about it he doesn't want to say. "You can do different things," he says, laughing. "But I can't say. But at least it wasn't in the front wing."
As for race pace, the Red Bull Racing driver is more than satisfied. "In VT2 it went quite well, I was quite happy with that. What we changed today should make it a little bit better, so hopefully, it will be like that tomorrow", said Verstappen.
In 2018 and 2019 Mercedes dominated the races at this circuit, a completely different picture from this qualifying. "Then I think we were a second behind, we just had no chance. So from our side, we can be very happy with this", said the Limburger.
