Wednesday in Zandvoort: Verstappen shows fan what Dutch flag looks like
- GPblog.com
In Belgium, there was no real Grand Prix to speak of, but fortunately, the aftermath is overshadowed by the new racing week that started right after: just a few days to go before the Dutch Grand Prix. Every day we make an overview of messages, pictures and other things that stood out in Zandvoort.
Davina Michelle practices the Dutch national anthem
Prior to the Grand Prix of the Netherlands, the honour falls to Davina Michelle to sing the Dutch national anthem. Today she rehearsed the national anthem, probably as a soundcheck as all kinds of systems were tested simultaneously, including the start lights and electronic screens.
Ze is even aan het oefenen in #Zandvoort. Je kunt niet merken dat @DavinaMichelle_ er gratis staat. En die kapel @defensie doet het ook goed. pic.twitter.com/LX6s0Qrvvv

Verstappen shows fan what Dutch flag looks like
Admittedly, this picture is not from today, but it is still a funny moment at Circuit Zandvoort. During the fan event where Red Bull Racing was present on the circuit (for the attentive reader still accompanied by Daniel Ricciardo at the time), a fan wanted a Dutch flag signed by Verstappen. However, she put the colors in the wrong order and thus presented him with a Russian flag. Max Verstappen was happy to show the fan on his phone what the Dutch flag actually looks like.

Leclerc and Sainz arrive at Zandvoort
Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz attracted a lot of attention when they arrived in their very expensive Ferrari's in Zandvoort. The race weekend in the Netherlands is nearly on our doorstep.
