The fact that Mick Schumacher managed to reach Q2 in his Haas during the qualifying in Turkey has not gone unnoticed. Schumacher's countryman and Williams team boss Jost Capito is impressed by the driver and would love to have him on his team.
Williams praises Schumacher
In conversation with the German RTL Capito commented on the Haas driver: "I have to say Mick is doing an excellent job. It's only his first year in Formula One, but how he's handled things, how he's handled the team and how he's got them behind him is absolutely brilliant."
"He's a driver to keep an eye on," Capito continued. "He's a nice guy and really deserves to be in a car he can win with. I'm confident that will happen. If that were a Williams, that would be even better!"
Second-home race for Williams
Next race weekend will be a special one for Williams. Williams chief Dave Robson, sees the race in Texas as a second home race now that a large part of Williams, the part of the new partnership with Dorilton Capital, is in the United States.
In the Williams preview he says: "The US is now a second home race for us, and we look forward to welcoming our additional Williams family of Dorilton Capital to one of the best Grand Prix events on the calendar."
