Unique Mercedes livery spotted: 'Verstappen to Mercedes confirmed'

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton are in the middle of the battle for the title. The drivers are separated by only six points. For Mercedes it is the first time since the departure of Nico Rosberg that there is no internal battle for the championship. Still Mercedes can't help but laugh at a very special car that drives around the circuit in Austin.

The photo shows the driver driving around in a Mercedes car, but it is painted in the Red Bull Racing colours. Also, the number of Max Verstappen is printed on the side of the car.

The Mercedes admin clearly couldn't resist posting a joke about this on the German team's official account. "Cursed images. Max to Mercedes. Confirmed", they said in the caption under the Instagram post.
