Wolff not without worries after pole in Qatar: 'The situation can change like that'.

Toto Wolff can look back on Saturday in Qatar with a good feeling. With Lewis Hamilton on pole position and Valtteri Bottas on P3, they can try to beat Max Verstappen on strategy, while the Dutchman is without support from his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez. The Mercedes team boss is therefore looking good for the race on Sunday.
"I think we probably 1 and 3. It's the version that we would have opted for because its on the cleaner line. We should be okay there. If Max gets a good start and is able to maintain the lead or comes out in the lead its hard," Wolff acknowledged to Sky Sports after qualifying.
Wolff surprised by Red Bull's speed
Although Wolff is at the front of the grid with both cars, he's not quite sure how to go about it. He noticed that Red Bull are a lot closer to the Mercedes duo at longer distances, and according to the German it's mainly important who can control the tyre the best.
"The car is good. They had a great straight-line speed today btw with a big wing and found some performance. We need to finish good tomorrow a score some points. Get some back and go to Abu Dhabi and whoever wins, wins the championship.
