Lewis Hamilton topped FP3 ahead of qualifying ahead of Kimi Raikkonen in P2 and Sebastian Vettel in P3 as Ricciardo stopped on track towards the end of the session. The brit set a 1:37.176 going into qualifying this afternoon, looking to add another pole position to his 82 already achieved at the season ending Grand Prix.
Vettel and Raikkonen showed signs of alot more pace compared to the previous practice sessions, finishing in the top three. Bottas had a relatively quiet session ending in fifth behinf Verstappen in fourth and ahead of Ricciardo in sixth.
Daniel Ricciardo encoutered more car trouble towards the end of the session having to be told to pull over and stop his car. Engine problems has plagued the second half of this season for him and having to look into more problems ahead of qualifying will not be what he wants for his last race for Red Bull before he moves to Renault.
Charles Leclerc found himself victim of running into the barriers at turn nineteen, damaging his rear wing in the process but managed to make it back to the pits ok. While Esteban Ocon, Mercedes reserve and test driver for next year, was unable to get out onto track for the majority of the session until the end, where he put in a lap (1:39) that found him in P10.
The bottom four consisted of Marcus Ericsson, Lance Stroll, Stoffel Vandoorne and Sergey Sirotkin.
