Sauber Motorsport is thirty years old this year and is celebrating with a temporary new logo. The most interesting thing about the message is the 'sneak peek' of the
Alfa Romeo car for 2022 also shared by the team.
Ferrari revealed the new name of the 2022 car; the Ferrari F1-75 with which the Scuderia will drive in 2022 is a tribute to Enzo
Ferrari's car brand that saw the light of day in 1947. Sauber Motorsport,
Alfa Romeo's partner in
Formula 1, also has something to celebrate this year. The racing brand is turning thirty years old, in fact, and a new logo has been created for the occasion.
What's more interesting in the message is the tip of the hat given by the team about the new F1 car for 2022. In the photo, we only see the rear, but it is one of the first images of a rear wing that will actually be used by the teams next season.
That Alfa Romeo is proud of the rear of the car isn't a big surprise. The team partly let go of Ferrari this year and designed the rear suspension and gearbox themselves. Because Alfa Romeo no longer takes over these parts from Ferrari but builds them itself, the team has more freedom around the development of the aerodynamic rear wing.
