Fernando Alsonso says goodbye to Formula 1 this weekend and it doesn't look like it will take long for him to find another avenue to sepnd his time. On Monday the Spanish racer will have a Nascar test in Bahrain but claims that the test is "just for fun" (www.formula1.de)
Alonso looks to have made plans for his racing future already. With a Nascar test on Monday the two time F1 world champion has said that "I can not say 100% that I will not enjoy it so much that I will not be driving in a competitive environment at some point." (www.formula1.de)
Alonso has had a vast experience of racing different cars and it is thought that a return to Indycar racing could also excite him. "I'm trying to discover new series and a different racing concept. The car will be completely different, so there are many things I will discover on Monday." (www.formula1.de)
Alsonso is widley regarded as one of the most talented drivers of his generation and it is likely that he will be successful in any of the cars he decides to race. A return to Formula 1 hasn't been ruled out and it is clear to see that Alonso just loves racing.
