Alonso's interesting Halo idea

Experienced F1 driver Fernando Alonso believes the Halo could be used to help fans distinguish between drivers.
Throughout modern Formula One, fans have had to identify the drivers in the same team by looking at helmet colours. A classic example of this was when Hamilton wore a bright yellow helmet in his early McLaren days.
But with the Halo device coming in new for 2018, it blocks out the ability to see the helmet in full making Alonso’s point valid.
The two time world champion backed up his point by saying: “I think the fans maybe can help in that aspect and make some suggestions, or F1 could have research on what the fans would like.
“Obviously, on our side it would not make any difference but if that can help the fans it’s ok.”
FIA President seemed to welcome Fernando’s idea: “I read sometime that we don’t see who is driving.
“We are complaining since years that we don’t see who is driving the car. We don’t see the name, you need to be a big expert. I guess all of you know who is driving each single car the way it is now.
“So I mean the Halo for me could be a facilitator to know who is driving the car.”
