At first glance, the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne looks set to be held in dry conditions. During qualifying for the race, however, there is a chance of some rain. So the weather could make for different conditions than we saw in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, as there the sun shone brightly, and there was not a speck of rain in sight.
Over the next few days in Melbourne, the chance of rain does not exceed five per cent, with the exception of Saturday, the day of FP3 and Qualifying. Then there is a 10% chance of rain at the Albert Park Street Circuit, according to Weather.com. The temperature during the sessions will be about the same as in the Middle East, as there, the sessions were mostly completed in the evening.
The temperature will be around 21 and 22 degrees Celsius during next weekend. When the sessions are finished during the weekend, the sun will not even be up yet in Europe. Formula 1 fans will therefore have to set the alarm early to catch some of the sessions. For instance, the race in Australia starts as early as 5:00am in mainland Europe and at 4:00am GMT.
