Ferrari has had to settle for places on the podium in the past couple of races after
Lewis Hamilton and
Valtteri Bottas won in Russia and Japan respectively, but team principal
Mattia Binotto knows they need to start being more consistent after strong qualifyings.
The constructors' championship has now gone for the team but the battle is now on to try and get the two drivers to finish as high up the list as possible with just nine points separating
Charles Leclerc and
Sebastian Vettel.
"After two races in which we could have done better, we present ourselves in Mexico with the desire to bring home the best result, " Binotto said as quoted by Sky Sports.
"We will try to win the sixth consecutive pole position and then aim for victory"
