Martin Brundle is either rushing around the grid trying to force words out of key F1 stakeholders or getting snubbed by celebrities during his famous grid walk on Sky Sports. It was a little bit different in Canada: Brundle spoke to an 88-year-old legend in the motorsport world who stole the show.

Brundle bumped into an 88-year-old on the grid in Canada. That lady turned out to be Mary McGee, who became the first woman to compete in motorcycle road racing and motocross events in the United States. The motorsport legend stole the hearts of fans watching on the British TV channel.

She revealed to Brundle that she first started racing cars in 1957 before switching to motorcycles three years later. She continued to compete until 2012. "I love Formula 1 racing. I was at Riverside many years ago for the first Formula 1 race. I met Jim Clark, for god sake," she said. She later revealed that she was supporting Lewis Hamilton in Canada.
