Charles Leclerc has managed to go faster than
Sebastian Vettel in his first morning of testing with
Ferrari. He goes into the lunch break as the leader of the session.
Leclerc, 21, set the fastest time of 1:36.559 which was almost three-tenths ahead of Vettel's time yesterday.
Pierre Gasly is getting his first drive in the Red Bull, and he sits second in the timing sheets at lunch.
Lance Stroll and Carlos Sainz are also racing for their new teams, though Force India have yet to confirm Stroll's arrival. The Pink Panthers driver currently sits third, just over half-a-second behind Gasly.
The Mercedes car at the hands of Valtteri Bottas is currently in fourth. Daniil Kvyat is back racing the Toro Rosso but is currently 2.3 seconds off the pace.
Artem Markelov and Luis Deltraz are racing for Renault and Haas respectively. Robert Kubica is at the back of the grid in the Williams.
