There is a lot of uncertainty about the start of the
Formula 1 season. First, the Australian Grand Prix was postponed due to the coronavirus. This afternoon it was also announced that the Grands Prix in Bahrain and Vietnam have also been postponed to an as yet unknown date. In the statement of the FIA and the F1 different dates are mentioned about the beginning of the season.
The FIA statement states that "as a result, Formula 1 and FIA expect to start the championship in Europe on May 1, but given the sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Europe in recent days, this should be regularly reviewed ". This seems to be a clear message, saying that the Grand Prix in Zandvoort would continue, as it starts on May 1.
However, F1 themselves expects the Grand Prix in the Netherlands not to take place.
"As a result, Formula 1 and FIA expect to start the championship in Europe at the end of May, but given the sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Europe in recent days, this will be reviewed regularly," said F1 on their official website. F1 expects that the Zandvoort race will be postponed, and also the Grand Prix in Spain.
Motorsport.com reports that F1 has shared the correct information, which would mean that the races in Zandvoort and Barcelona will not continue. Zandvoort themselves said that they have not heard anything official yet.
