Red Bull Racing has increased its lead in the Constructors' Championship thanks to the retirement of
Carlos Sainz and
Charles Leclerc. Whereas the team had 36 points more than its competitor after the race in Monaco, that has now increased to eighty points.
Both Leclerc and Sainz suffered car problems during the race, leaving
Ferrari empty-handed. The Austrians took the opportunity by finishing first and second with
Max Verstappen and
Sergio Perez respectively.
In the remainder of the rankings, however, little changed. Only Alpine and Alfa Romeo changed places. Alpine is in fifth place after the GP in Baku with 47 points, while Alfa Romeo occupies a place lower.
Williams is still at the bottom with three points.
