With a car in both first and third place, Mercedes takes another step towards the next constructors world title. The gap to Red Bull is marginal however, and with three races completed, the battle for the title is far from over.
With 101 points after the
Portuguese Grand Prix, Mercedes cement the lead at the start of the 2021 season. The Silver Arrows are chased by
Red Bull Racing, who are safely in second place with 83 points.
McLaren are defending the constructors' bronze from 2020, and are doing good business again in Portugal. Both papaya coloured cars are in the points. At the moment, the only challenger for
McLaren seems to be
Ferrari. The team, which managed to make up some of the ground during the winter break, is currently fourth, with 42 points.
Three teams without points
With three Grand Prix behind them there are still three teams in the standings at zero. Haas, Alfa Romeo and
Williams have not yet been able to establish themselves in the top 10.
