Sky Sports. "It was a really cool and great experience."De Vries satisfied with FP1
The 27-year-old driver from Sneek knows the
Circuit Paul Ricard well, and notes how different it feels with the new generation of F1 cars.
"It was really cool to feel the downforce and speed and get used to fast cars again. The level of grip is very different," he explained.
De Vries is left with a good feeling from the practice session. "I felt like I adapted fairly quickly," he continues. "I felt the whole session was very competitive and actually felt good. I was disappointed with the second on the soft. But generally it was a good session."
