In an interview with Autosprint Stefano Domenicali is candid about both Ferrari drivers, expectations of the season and the team's history. In it, he revealed that much of motorsport's success is due to the Italian team.
Stefano Domenicali worked as team boss for Ferrari from 2008 to 2014. In November 2007, he was announced as the new team boss of the 16-time Formula 1 world champion. Taking over from Jean Todt, after six years at Ferrari, Marco Mattiacci took over and Domenicali joined Audi. After his adventures at Audi and Lamborghini, he was appointed Formula 1 chief executive in January 2021.
"I expect the little horse (Ferrari, ed.) to play a big leading role this year," Domenicali stated. According to him, the great success of motorsport is due to him, this stems from the fact that Ferrari has meant a lot to the sport. Ferrari's name recognition is huge, and the share they still have since 1950 is huge.

Leclerc vs Sainz

He also spoke out about Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. The two drivers have not had any problems with each other so far, so a real problem does not apply between the two. Domenicali does see similarities between the struggles of Leclerc and Sainz, and the struggle between Prost and Senna: "The more they fight, the better. "
Prost and Senna could be recognised for fights on track that could get quite out of hand. The fight between them all started at McLaren, after which Prost then moved to Ferrari.
