Formula 1 teams will travel to Miami this weekend for the first time in history to complete a Grand Prix. With an all-new circuit, it promises to be a sizzling weekend, although Will Buxton is waiting to see what the situation will be for the time being.
Partly due to the new regulations, the first four races of the season were very exciting. Where Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc competed together at the front for the victories, in the middle of the driver field it is more exciting than ever.
The drivers seem to be carrying that line forward to the race in the United States. Ferrari, among others, will do everything they can to get revenge on Red Bull Racing and Verstappen, but even for the Italians it is difficult to say what the possibilities are. As it is a new circuit, the free practice sessions in Miami will be very important.
"With just days to go, there’s rarely been such fevered anticipation for the arrival of a new race venue," Buxton writes for Formula1.com. "Will it truly be a step into the next generation of Formula 1 events? For as long as the sun shines in Florida, there seems little doubt Miami will make good on all we expect it to be."
