Red Bull Racing have been struggling to find form recently, and now, they have lost the lead in the constructors' standings to
McLaren. Team principal
Christian Horner declared that things went wrong with an update back during last year's Spanish GP. Former
F1 driver
Giedo van der Garde does not believe that's the case.

Red Bull have been struggling with the balance of their car for weeks now, as hardly a Grand Prix weekend passes by without
Max Verstappen mentioning what's his problem with the RB20.
"No, no, that's really not possible," Van der Garde said the DRS The Race Show podcast. "We have seen for a few races now that the car is just not right, so there is a fundamental problem, which they have to solve. Max is also just honest and sincere. Who just said: listen, the free practice we tried some things, in qualifying we went the wrong way with the setup. Yes, you saw that in qualifying, but also in the race."
As Red Bull now already trail McLaren by 20 points in the constructors' standings, Verstappen still leads the drivers' championship ahead of
Lando Norris by 59 points. On the other hand, the Dutchman is not the only experienced driver who struggled with the balance of his car,
Lewis Hamilton talked about similar issues last weekend in Baku.
