Much to General Motors' delight and everyone currently working on getting the Cadillac F1 project off the ground ahead of the 2026 season, the FIA and F1 have made the American team's addition to the grid official as of 2026.
Recent comments from designer guru, Adrian Newey, pointing to a lack of concern in terms of the issues that were looming over Red Bull Racing's chosen path in terms development were looked past by the Austrian team's leadership. Pierre Waché, Red Bull's technical director, has now fired back and dismissed his former colleague's comments.
Max Verstappen, has outlined which team is the favorite ahead of the 2025 season, and has also given FIA President, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, an advice. With regards to the RB21, the four-time world champion has made clear that not all of the RB20's woes have been fixed. Verstappen also rules himself out as a potential winner in Melbourne, but is hopeful the team can compete for the top spots soon.
