In exciting news, the
FIA has finally released the 2025 start times for all 24 Grands Prix. On the
Formula 1 side of things,
Sergio Perez's old race engineer gets a new job, while after
Lewis Hamilton's crash,
Ferrari's engineers had to work hard to fix the SF-23.
F1 2025 race times
The
FIA has recently shared with
Formula 1 fans everywhere the times of all the free practices, sprints, qualifyings and feature races. With some minor changes, fans all around the world are sure to miss out on sleep during the season! Always on Saturday, the Las Vegas Grand Prix has shifted up two hours while the
Australian Grand Prix stays just as early for European fans.
Perez's Race Engineer gets shuffled
Sergio Perez's old race engineer, Hugh Bird, will no longer be spotted on the
Red Bull Racing pit wall. Instead, Richard Wood will be
Liam Lawson's race engineer. Woods had previously covered for Bird during his paternity leave but will now step up full-time. GPblog understands that Bird will be working as a Suspension Group Team Leader. Bird was not the only
Red Bull Racing employee to get shuffled around as
Max Verstappen's race engineer has also taken on another role. Gianpiero Lambiase will still support Verstappen from the pit wall as he will split his extra job duties with other employees.
Hamilton's TPC was positive
According to Peter Windsor, even the crash couldn't keep
Lewis Hamilton and
Ferrari down. Despite the SF-23 not being able to be repaired in enough time for
Charles Leclerc's run, Windsor still believes they accomplished something great in Barcelona. He said,
"On the face of it, Lewis Hamilton’s first proper test with Ferrari, which took place in Barcelona last week, was not the greatest of tests." But that his take was
"that it was actually a very, very good test for Lewis, and I think all Lewis Hamilton fans can feel delighted at the way that test went."Both of the Ferrari drivers will be in action again very soon for the Pirelli tyre testing.
