2019 wasn't the season
Ferrari would have hoped for but
Mattia Binotto is adamant the team has everything it takes to challenge for the World Championship in the upcoming season.
Despite pre-season testing offering hope for the Scuderia, 2019 was plagued with controversey as their drivers battled on track, their car was unable to match the superior
Mercedes and it was another year without a title. It culminated in a dramatic crash at Interlagos.
The team head into 2020 with both drivers on a level playing field, after
Charles Leclerc beat
Sebastian Vettel in the Drivers' Championship last season. Their team principal, Mattia Binotto believes everything is there for them to succeed, they just need to put in the hard work.
"In my opinion, the competition has never been as strong as it is today,” Binotto told the official
Ferrari magazine.
“We have everything we need to perform, but there are no guarantees in this sport. We have to work even harder and use our advantage of the great brand and the fans to our advantage to get the title back in 2020.”
