Ferrari will reuse the same power unit that denied Charles Leclerc his first Formula One race victory in two weeks time in China.
Having dominated Saturday qualifying, Leclerc fought back from a bad start to overtake his teammate, Sebastian Vettel and race off into an unassailable lead and one that he would have surely held on to had it not been for a fault in his SF90 engine.
Leclerc relinquished the race win to Lewis Hamilton after an apparent cylinder issue caused the Monegasque driver to lose engine power late on in the Bahrain Grand Prix.
"We will need some time for the analysis of the engine at the factory, but we know that it is a problem limited to one element, in this case a cylinder," he told La Repubblica.
"What is certain is that we will not change the way we use the engine. What is certain from the weekend is that we were fast, even if that does not mean that this performance will be enough for the rest of the season.
"We know we have a good package and we are working hard to develop it. We are disappointed with the outcome of the race but the mood is good, the season is long and there are many positives.
"So it was disappointing but we are not alarmed."
