The FIA have called teams to a meeting to talk about ways to increase the visibility for the drivers.
There's been controversy about mirrors this season already in Formula One.
Ferrari's aerodynamic Halo-mounted mirrors had to be tweaked in order to be legal.
The aero rules and the way teams run their cars with high rake have had a negative effect on the visibility and the FIA have now called a meeting to try and solve this problem.
The FIA's original plan was to use their own alterations and enforce the new rules surrounding the mirrors and they would have been in place for the Singapore Grand Prix.
There were concerns that rushing through the makings of the new rules would lead to accidental loopholes, which teams could then exploit.
The FIA have called teams for a meeting now so nothing like this happens.
There appears to be a rush for these rules to come out which indicates that it is a pretty serious safety problem.
One solution and the FIA's original plan was to put the mirrors back in the standard place rather than allowing teams to put them anywhere in a set area - which is the case at the moment.
