Force India will race in their 200th Grand Prix this weekend, and Esteban Ocon knows how big it will be for the team. The pink panthers will be looking for the reverse of their latest result.
The team entered the grid 10 years ago. Their first Grand Prix was the 2008 Australian race. Their highest finish in the constructors' championship was 4th.  This has been retained over the past two seasons.
Whilst the team haven’t managed to win a race, they’ve qualified on pole once before and achieved 5 fastest laps. Esteban Ocon, a current Force India driver, acknowledges the teams' milestone.
"It’s a big weekend for the team - reaching 200 races in Formula One is a milestone," the 21-year-old said in an interview on F1i.
"I’m proud to be part of this team’s history: we represent something special on the grid, and I think the sport wouldn’t be the same without Force India. Hopefully, we can celebrate this occasion with a good result this weekend.”
Ocon finished 8th in the Austrian Grand Prix last year, so it’s no surprise that the Frenchman is looking forward to his second attempt at the Red Bull Ring.
"Austria is always a fun event. It’s a cool track and very unique because of its layout, and the mountains make a very unusual setting," he added.
"I am looking forward to being there in the hills and the fresh air. The circuit is short and has only eight corners, but that makes for a very tight grid.”
