The Formula 3 winter test scheduled for late February has been postponed. Due to Spain's strict coronavirus measures, it is not possible for British teams and drivers to enter the country.
Formula 3 was due to kick off the 2021 season on 25 and 26 February with a two-day winter test at Jerez de la Frontera. However, the championship has announced on its website that these tests have been postponed.
The Spanish Health Ministry has imposed a travel ban which makes it impossible for British teams and drivers to enter the country. This ban is valid at least until March 2nd.
Formula 3 currently has two teams operating from the UK, Carlin and Hitech Grand Prix. The only British drivers contracted for 2021 are Oli Caldwell and Jonny Edgar. A new date is being considered and will be announced at a later date.
