The second free practice session for the Turkish Grand Prix is over, and with it the action on Friday has come to an end. Once again it was Lewis Hamilton who topped the timesheet, while both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez struggled to find the right set-up.
Hamilton was fastest in both the first and second free practice sessions, but it was Ferrari that managed to surprise. Charles Leclerc was hot on Hamilton's heels throughout FP2, and seemed to be able to keep up with him in the long runs as well. He ended the session in second place, 0.166 seconds behind the fastest time.
Red Bull Racing did not have its best session. Max Verstappen finished fifth, with Sergio Perez just ahead in fourth. The Austrian team has to find the right set-up for Saturday.
