It's been another season of pure struggle for
Williams, with a poor package given to the British team, leaving them rock bottom of the constructors' standings with just one point to its name.
A bright spark in
Williams' dismal season has been the resurgence of
George Russell - despite not scoring a single point yet - the Formula 2 champion has been very impressive during his rookie Formula 1 season.
Speaking to
Motorsport.com, Russell admitted his concern over his team not trying enough different things this season to try and get themselves out of the hole they've been left in, largely by Paddy Lowe, who has since left the Grove-based squad.
"I'm not convinced but I think we just need to be more dynamic to the situation and have less preconceived thoughts of how we need to approach something - and try more across the weekend," Russell said.
"We haven't really tried enough different things, purely on the tyres, that we should have and that's something I regret slightly."
