Lewis Hamilton is officially back. On Friday, Mercedes presented the W13 in which the Briton will compete for the world title in 2022. Former Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean can't wait to see his old colleague back in action.

After losing his eighth world title in Abu Dhabi, Hamilton will give everything in the upcoming season to break Michael Schumacher's record. Grosjean speaks highly of the Brit's past season.

"Even though he’s not the 2021 world champion, I feel like it was his best year in Formula One. He’s been super strong, he’s been making no mistakes. He’s really been engaged pushing the limits, driving the hell out of that Mercedes car that wasn’t the fastest one," Grosjean said in his YouTube video.

'Hamilton has nothing to prove'

Hamilton will have another chance to win that eighth title in 2022 if his team manages to develop a strong car. However, it is impossible to say for sure, as the new regulations could completely change the ranking. Even though the 37-year-old is already one of the greatest drivers in F1, Grosjean thinks he will fight harder than ever.

"I think Lewis wants to really start the season with a win. He’s got nothing to prove, Lewis is one of the biggest drivers in the world in history. I can’t wait to see how he fights back," concluded the French driver.

Whole article seems to be written by a total Hami Boi ass kisser.
Been his best year? Been super strong? No mistakes? Not driving the best car?
All the 4 points would be true if he was talking about Max but regarding Hami, none of those facts are correct at all.

But don't forget Adrian also said the Redbull was the faster car, and lets forget Lewis was world champion until the fired Race director made that ridiculous decion.
