An off weekend for the reigning world champion but he still added another record to his name.
By finishing in the points at the Chinese Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton broke the record for consecutive points finishes in F1. His fourth-place finish brings his tally up to 28 races in the points in a row.
Previously held by Kimi Raikkonen, Hamilton's consistency stretches back to Japan 2016 after his nightmare engine blow up in Malaysia the race prior that arguably ended his title hopes that season.
Since then the Silver Arrows have been imperious reliability-wise but find themselves in a championship battle in 2018.
It might have been another record broken, but Hamilton won't be looking back at the weekend with any fond memories. Off the pace after Friday and with lots to evaluate with his team before the racing resumes in Baku, he is yet to win this season.
