Five-time Formula 1 champion
Lewis Hamilton had a small crash on a Superbike track day at
Jerez, but the 33-year-old remained uninjured in what proved to be just a small hiccup during the day.
Hamilton, who just won his second title in a row and his fourth in five years at
Mercedes took part in a Superbike track day at Jerez, host of the Spanish Grand Prix in MotoGP. He was driving an all-black Yamaha YZF-R1 with custom-livery on it in a private test at the Circuito de Jerez.
It is understood that Hamilton lost control of his bike and crashed at Turn 7. He did remain unharmed, however, in what only proved to be a small disruption of the day.
