Lewis Hamilton says he is loving the challenge of a three-way fight for this year's world championship. The reigning champion has rivals from all angles this year with Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo hot on his heels in the race for the title.
Hamilton, Vettel and Ricciardo all have two wins apiece in the first six races of the season, and there is a long way to go yet. The Mercedes driver believes that it has brought the best out of him.
"It definitely is a three-way fight,” he said.
“I personally love it. It’s challenging me more than I can express.
"It’s the biggest challenge that I’ve had with my boys, but I’m loving that challenge, I’m loving having to dig super deep in my technical knowledge and learning more and how I can communicate.
"How I can really pick the right set-up and get it right for the weekend, all these different things. I’m enjoying that.
“I’m telling you, we’re doing everything we can to win the race," he added "And then the Red Bulls win it, and then the Ferraris win it, and then we win.
"It’s great to have that."
