Lewis Hamilton admits that he loves being against adversity and it drives him on even more to prove people on.
The German Grand Prix is Sebastian Vettel's home race, so it was inevitable Lewis Hamilton was going to be booed throughout the race.
It doesn't bother Hamilton, though, and the Mercedes man says that he loves the boos, as it becomes more of a challenge for him!
"When you're up against adversity... it's always a chance to show what you can do and driving from the back is so much more fun," Hamilton said to GrandPrix247.com.
"You never know how far you can go. Sometimes you are able to go the distance."
Hamilton is the sport's record holder for most pole positions with 76 - so despite what he tells you; he also loves starting from the front!
However, there is something that makes it more fun for Lewis when he starts from the back - probably the ease he can overtake cars that are lesser than him, or the go-karting similarities from his junior days.
"It's very reminiscent of how I started out," Hamilton said.
"The kart that I had was really, really old, owned by five different families. My dad spent a little bit of money to shave it down and re-spray it and made it as brand new as it could be. But it was still, he would call it, a four-poster bed.
"There was a lot of negativity before the race, and when I came here, there was a lot of booing. The weird thing is that I was really happy about it!"
