Lewis Hamilton leads the drivers' standings by 24 points, just over halfway through the season and the Mercedes driver is sure that his car has more power to unleash this season.

Hamilton and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, unsurprisingly, have their horns well and truly locked in the battle for supremacy in the Formula One title race.

The pair are both searching for their fifth world championship, and Hamilton currently has the advantage over Vettel.

Hamilton's record at Spa-Francorchamps is very impressive as he searches for his fourth win at the iconic Belgian track, and he was asked by reporters if the pressure was getting to the pair competing for the title.

"Only Sebastian can tell you if he is feeling the pressure," Hamilton replied. "I can only tell you the pressure is on me. That pressure is as great as can be, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

"I welcome it. Under pressure, humans are moved to do extraordinary things, to evolve, to push the envelope, to be better in all areas. That's the excitement of this battle."

The Mercedes driver usually comes back from the mid-season summer break in impressive style and Vettel, usually the opposite.

"I don't sit here thinking I have got a race advantage in the sense I can relax," Hamilton admitted to GrandPrix247.com. "I don't want to lose the points that I have. I don't want the pendulum to swing the other way again.

"How do I stop that? That is the question in the back of my mind. There is more juice to come."
