Helmut Marko remains impressed with
Daniil Kvyat's first season back in
Formula 1. During the season, the
Toro Rosso driver managed to step on the podium after a crazy wet race in Germany.
Second chances aren't common in the Red Bull junior set-up, but on this occasion, it has worked.
“It is a pity that he was not a bit more fortunate technically, he still lives up to expectations. Kvyat has a good season. We know what he is capable of," Marko revealed to the Russian company Tass.
“He has grown up - stopped being too emotional. There is no doubt that he is making progress," says Marko.
Rookie
Alex Albon was chosen ahead of Kvyat to move into the Aston Martin
Red Bull Racing seat following
Pierre Gasly's move back to Toro Rosso during the summer break.
