Red Bull Racing Honda enter the final two races of the Formula 1 season slightly behind Mercedes in the Constructors' Championship. The engine manufacturer is holding its nerve, also considering Max Verstappen's leading position in the Drivers' Championship, but fears Mercedes' top speed.

Honda F1 director Masashi Yamamoto echoed Red Bull's suspicions about Mercedes' rear wing, but fears that won't matter much in the denouement of the title race anymore. Meanwhile, Red Bull had its own problems with the rear wing, which the team had to resolve throughout the weekend.

DRS problem Red Bull had no urgency

However, according to Yamamoto, it was a minor problem for which the mechanics had plenty of time to fix it. "In the third free practice session there was plenty of time, so even the repairs were delayed by a few minutes. Therefore, there was little sense of urgency or fear that it would not be fixed in time," he explained to Japanese Autosportweb.

"However, it's never a bad idea to check the car before the start of a session. Personally, I think it should be checked during the maintenance on Friday night, but I think it's great that the team is able to react quickly in such a situation."

No idea what you're on about, FIA passed the wing with flying clours .

You're judging the situation by the outcome, not the cause. All Lewis did was touch Max's front wing with the very tip of his front wing. Usually for this, its a 5sec penalty. The only reason the FIA gave him a 10sec was because they knew that Horner and the RB fans would start whining if they gave him a 5sec. But you still whine.

You RB fans keep mentioning this. If Merc did have any control over the FIA then why did the FIA DQ Lewis from Brazil Quali when the DRS gap was 0.02mm wider on one side of the wing? And why didn't Max get a penalty for Brazil? If the FIA really were in Merc's pocket then both of these would've worked out in their favour.

Please use your brain sometimes, that is if you have one.
