Christian Horner and
Toto Wolff often couldn't stand each other in last season's championship battle. Despite the fierce battle, the Austrian
Red Bull Racing team boss has respect for Wolff, he stressed in conversation with
Sky Sports.
"Toto is Toto," Horner judged. "Of course when you're competing, and last year was so intense and of course it was the first time he'd ever been in that situation, it's always interesting to see how people react. And when they're smashing headphones and so on, you can see that you got to them."
Horner hints at the moment during the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Wolff was so angry that he decided to throw his headphones hard on the table. It created historic images in
Formula 1, which Horner also still remembers well.
Horner doesn't want to make a comparison
In the same interview, the Red Bull team boss refused to compare himself to the Austrian. According to Horner, both men have a completely different background and he prefers to leave it to others to judge his work. Moreover, for the time being this season he has to focus mainly on
Ferrari who occupy the second place in the world championship.
