Lewis Hamilton managed to achieve five consecutive wins on two occasions in Formula 1. He first achieved it during his first season at Mercedes in 2014 between the Italian and USA Grands Prix. He achieved it for a second time in 2020 between the Eifel and Bahrain Grands Prix.

Hamilton's best run

Red Bull dominated the 2023 Formula 1 season, and Max Verstappen achieved a record run of consecutive wins in Formula 1 when he took victory at the Italian Grand Prix. The Dutchman moved closer to his third world title as a result.

Mercedes and Hamilton have also had a long period of success in Formula 1. Hamilton dominated Formula 1 by winning six championships in seven years, but the British driver didn't get close to Verstappen's total of 10 wins. He achieved two runs of five consecutive wins and five funs of four consecutive wins. After Verstappen achieved the record, Toto Wolff was keen to give his opinion regarding competition within the same team.
