With 18 of the 21 qualfiying sessions completed, eight of the ten teams already have a driver who has sealed the qualifying duel within the team, with four drivers adding to that list on Saturday in Mexico.
Just McLaren and Toro Rosso have their duels still up for grabs, as
Carlos Sainz and
Lando Norris are now at nine a piece for the Woking-based team, with Sainz in brilliant qualifying form compared to his rookie teammate in recent weekends.
By out-qualifying
Sebastian Vettel on Saturday,
Charles Leclerc has now officially beaten the German in terms of qualifying for the 2019 season, as the Monegasque beat the four-time champion over one-lap pace for the 11th time this weekend.
The same goes for
Max Verstappen (despite his penalty),
Kimi Raikkonen and
Kevin Magnussen for their respective teams.
George Russell has kept up his qualifying form, as he's yet to be beaten by
Robert Kubica over one lap in 2019, although the Pole has scored the team's only point so far this season in Germany.
