Kevin Magnussen has won Driver of the Year at the Danish Motorsport Awards in Copenhagen. The Haas driver completed the 2018
Formula 1 season in 9th, his highest ever finish in the drivers' standings.
Magnussen's 2018 was famous for carrying all the points for Haas in the first half of the season. Critics believe he performs better at the start of the season, but boss
Guenther Steiner attempted to shoot these down.
The Danish Motorsport awards take place every year either in January or February. Magnussen's triumph last night was the third time he has picked up the award.
This year's awards featured prizes in Rally, Speedway, Motocross, Karting and Road Racing.
Haas celebrated their driver's achievements within a tweet this afternoon.
