Robert Kubica will get another chance to drive a
Formula 1 car when he takes to the Circuit de Catalunya on Wednesday morning for his first drive in
Alfa Romeo's 2020 challenger.
Kubica left
Williams at the end of last season and he was replaced by
Nicholas Latifi. However, Alfa Romeo have afforded the Polish driver another chance and he will be their reserve driver behind
Kimi Raikkonen and
Antonio Giovinazzi in 2020.
Kubica recently spoke about how he may have raced in Formula 1 for the last time but he'll get another chance to be in the cockpit of an F1 when he tests for Alfa Romeo on Wednesday morning at pre-season testing. He'll then hand over to Giovinazzi for the afternoon session. Raikkonen will take on the whole day on Thursday before Giovinazzi gets another chance on Friday.
