Lando Norris has unveiled a very special helmet for the
Hungarian Grand Prix. The
McLaren driver will drive with a design that does look a lot like
Max Verstappen's trophy, which Norris accidentally broke on the podium last year.
Norris drives with helmet in style of Verstappen's broken trophy
Norris often drives with creative helmet designs, but for the
Formula 1 race in Hungary, the Briton has chosen a very special design. Indeed, his special helmet for the race weekend at the
Hungaroring is very reminiscent of last year's porcelain trophies. In a much-discussed moment, Norris accidentally broke race winner Verstappen's trophy.
Norris expressed regret for the incident and promised to pay for the damage. In a special gesture towards the maker, Herend Porcelain Manufactory, the McLaren driver, in collaboration with the Hungarian porcelain maker, now comes with a helmet that features a pattern very similar to the porcelain trophies.
