Daniel Ricciardo and
Charles Leclerc have been fined post-race at the Grand Prix of Great Britain, as both of them broke the rules in the pitlane during the race.
Kimi Raikkonen already got fined during the race, as he got a ten-second penalty for spinning around Lewis Hamilton at the start of the race.
Sebastian Vettel got a five-second penalty for the very same thing in France when the German spun Valtteri Bottas around. This shows that the FIA have taken measures to penalize offenders of their rules even more.
Daniel Ricciardo and Charles Leclerc have noticed. The Aussie, who drove another underwhelming race at Silverstone, got fined €400,-. He drove too fast in the pitlane, which is why he'll have to make a direct debit to the FIA. He'll earn it back in about ten seconds, but it's more about the idea.
Sauber also got fined for an unsafe release of Charles Leclerc. €5.000,- for them. It's a shame that they already saw both of their cars retire from the race, so this will feel like a kick while they were already down.
