Charles Leclerc admits he is confused by the performances of his team at the Spanish Grand Prix after scoring points for two races in a row.
Leclerc scored his first points with a sixth place in Azerbaijan, and he followed that up by finishing tenth in Spain.
The F1 rookie, who said he needs to keep his expectations in check after his sixth place in Baku, and admits he's "confused now" after Barcelona.
“Because I still think in the same way as Baku but on the other hand we have scored points twice in a row. Ok in Spain we also took the opportunities — we had some crashes — but in the end I think we were not so far off points anyway." the Monaco-born driver added.
“What I expect from each race now… I just want to wait for Monaco and see if our expectations are still wrong there and after Monaco maybe I will tell you more! But for now I prefer to not say anything because I definitely didn’t expect this result in Barcelona.”
