With over half of the teams based in Britain, Formula 1 could be strongly affected when the country leaves the European Union later this month. Chase Carey, F1 chief executive, confirms they have plans in place for many situations.
Some teams, who have their base in the UK, have already confirmed a 'no deal' will cause significant logistical problems. Toto Wolff says it could become "the mother of all messes" for his Mercedes team who are in Brackley.
With just over three weeks until the big Brexit day, Carey spoke to reporters including Straittimes, about the consequences of Brexit on Formula 1. He did this at the Geneva International Motor Show.
"We are making contingency plans for trying to make sure we are prepared to deal with the issues that could possibly arise that would make getting people and things in and out of the UK more difficult," he said.
He went on to focus on the logistical areas which could create a massive headache for all teams based inside the UK.
"We bring them in and out of the UK now. We obviously can bring them in and out of somewhere else," Carey added.
With Theresa May's deal not yet approved by the parliament, Brexit could well face a delay.
