Haas driver
Kevin Magnussen has revealed his excitement to be racing in Austin next time out - however, he believes the track is "too safe" for his preference.
Magnussen has only recorded points in Austin once out of his last three drives on the track, with McLaren in 2014 - finishing eighth.
Last season, the Dane could only manage to finish in P16; starting a place below that. But much has changed at Haas twelve months on.
There are much higher expectations for Magnussen and his team-mate Romain Grosjean nowadays, with Haas sat well up in fifth.
Magnussen, who will be continuing at Haas next season, is very happy with his side's recent progress.
"From the first day I enjoyed working with Gene Haas and his team," Magnussen told FormulaPassion. "I like the way they work and their simplicity. And the results reward this way of doing.
"I can not complain. This year the team has grown, with one more year of experience, and in terms of quality, our car has improve a lot. And our knowledge of tyres is also increased. I would say that these are the main turning points of this season."
In the United States, this is Haas' home race and Magnussen is determined to bring joy to all of the Haas following in the U.S.
"There is always one more motivation for the team to do well in the United States," Magnussen added. "We always try to do our best, we are always on the attack to get the best possible results."
